"Trust and Retaking the Fire Service"
Lieutenant Tim Klett
In this era of fewer fires and over educated decision makers, it is time for the American fire service to rediscover itself. More and more fire ground decisions are being based on liability and not life. It is time to get back to the core values that has made the American fire service the most respected in the world. At the center of these values is trust, it is this quality that allows us to do the things we do and go the places we go. In the end trust is truly the fuel that makes the fire service run.
